Volu-Sol's IronView Stain Kit utilizes a Prussian Blue method similar to Gomori?s for the demonstration of ferric (Fe3+) iron in tissues. This kit produces superb results while utilizing lower concentrations of potentially hazardous chemicals. Ferric Iron appears blue and nuclei red, results are present on a pink background counterstained by Nuclear Fast Red.
